About - Our Commitment
Salem Gastroenterology Consultants, PC (SGC) provides compassionate professional care to individuals during the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestines, as well as the liver, pancreas and colon.
Established in 1979, SGC is independently owned, operated and under the direction of the physician share holders. The physician share holders also own and operate Salem Endoscopy Center, LLC adjacent to our clinic. This allows our patients the choice of having their endoscopy procedure in a facility directed by their physician in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment.
All SGC physicians are board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Seven of our physicians are also board certified in Gastroenterology.
Two physicians have obtained the prestigious title of “Fellow” from the nation’s top physician associations for outstanding contributions in research, teaching and other clinical achievements. One physician also is board certified in Nutrition Support.
Our Commitment to Quality
As the only single specialty Gastroenterology clinic in Salem, our experienced gastroenterologists are committed to providing patient-focused care in a comfortable, safe environment while offering state-of-the-art technology. Our experienced team of physicians, physician assistant, registered nurses and support staff guide patients as they gather knowledge about their digestive diseases, diagnoses, and the most appropriate and effective treatment options. We have an integrated electronic health record system offering quick turnaround for labs, prescription requests, and endoscopy and consultation reports.
